Axminster Town Council Welcomes Newly Co-opted Councillor Jenny Bull
Axminster Town Council extends a warm welcome to newly co-opted Councillor Jenny Bull. With a diverse background encompassing teaching, healthcare, and end-of-life companionship, Cllr Bull brings a wealth of experience and a heartfelt commitment to serving the community of Axminster.
Jenny Bull, a dedicated single parent and successful business owner, is passionate about equality and empowering others and believes that we can achieve the best for our community through collaboration and kindness.
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to represent the wonderful town of Axminster," remarked Cllr Bull.
"I am really looking forward to working alongside all of the other town councillors who clearly care a great deal about our community. Like so many, I have experienced life's ups and downs, and every day, I work to support those facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. I believe that being a good councillor requires you to be approachable and demonstrate empathy and compassion. I hope these attributes will serve me well as I undertake my role as an Axminster Town Councillor."
The Town Mayor, Cllr Jill Farrow, commented:
"We are delighted to welcome Jenny Bull to Axminster Town Council. Jenny has shown great enthusiasm for her new role and is actively engaging with the community about the things that matter to them. The Town Council still has one vacancy following the recent resignation of Dianne Bruce, who we sincerely thank for her time with the Town Council. Aspiring community leaders with a passion for local democracy and a desire to make a difference, like Cllr Bull, are encouraged to consider putting their names forward for co-option."
For more information on how to become involved in local governance or to express interest in the vacant council position, please contact the Town Clerk before the 7th of May.
