Consultation on Street Trading

Published: 16 March 2017

Street trading includes stalls at outdoor events, street stalls, outdoor markets, festivals, roadside food vans and in car parks including supermarket car parks, anything where someone is selling goods or services on the streets or in outside pedestrian areas or open spaces.  The District Council are proposing that if anyone wants to street trade throughout the whole of the district, they will have to apply to EDDC for permission and will either be granted or refused a licence to trade.  All completed questionnaires and comments must be with East Devon by 5pm Wednesday 26 April.  For more information and to complete the online questionnaire, go to East Devon District Council's consultation pages
